Using the YL+E FACTS Enrollment system will help all YL+E students, families, and faculty easily enroll and stay up to date with all YL+E information. Enrollment is required for all YL+E students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, including new and returning students.
For returning students who were enrolled in 2023-2024, please log into your FACTS Family Portal and enter your District Code as YLE-TX.
For new students, please follow these steps.
Step 1: To begin the Application process, please Create an Account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email containing a verification link. If you already have a FACTS account with ECEC or another school, you will still need to create an account for YL+E. You can use your same username and password.
Step 2: Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. Although this is called an application, every student that is part of a Temple Emanu-El family, with Temple membership in good standing, including all financial responsibilities and commitments (Temple dues, fees, and tuition) will be able to enroll in YL+E.
Step 3: Complete and submit the application. This information will allow the YL+E and Temple staff to verify and match student information with your membership record. Completing Step 3 by May 22 will ensure you qualify for the Early Tuition Rate. Tuition rates are below.
Step 4: YL+E will confirm your application and FACTS will send you the full 2024-2025 Enrollment Packet. On this form, you will complete all required medical information, insurance information, financial aid requests, emergency contact information, learning accommodations, etc. Upon completing the Enrollment Packet, you will be able to set up your Financial Payment Plan and link your credit or bank account.

YL+E Enrollment will open on April 25, 2024. Early-bird discount of $75 per student through May 22. Friend request and class placement deadline of July 23. Additional FACTS Financial Processing fee of $25 or $55 per family depending on payment plan selection.
About YL+E Tuition:
The tuition funds collected with YL+E enrollment go directly to running YL+E programs for Temple Emanu-El students, parents, and families. Tuition helps pay YL+E staff and faculty salaries and benefits, maintenance and building costs, security staff, AV staff, supplies, food, need-based scholarship, and other expenses. However, YL+E tuition only covers approximately half of the expenses for YL+E. The Temple budget covers the remaining half, pursuant to a policy enacted a number of years ago by the Temple Board of Trustees. Temple leadership continues to support YL+E in this way to make tuition affordable and accessible, viewing it as an investment in the education and identity of future Jewish leaders.
